How to get a cleaner key shift
Choose the smallest shift that reaches the target key. Changes of 1 to 3 semitones usually preserve vocals and transients more naturally than large moves.
Select the track’s source key before transposing, then use the displayed target key and Camelot value to check the harmonic result.
A shared batch setting is convenient, but each track reacts differently. Listen to vocals, cymbals, and transients before exporting the selected files.

The tool resamples the audio to move the pitch, then time-stretches it back to the original speed. The two steps cancel out in duration, so only the key changes while the BPM stays the same.
From -12 to +12 — a full octave in either direction. Small moves of 1 to 3 semitones sound the most natural; larger shifts work for creative edits but noticeably change the character of vocals.
One semitone up equals +7 steps on the Camelot wheel: 8A becomes 3A, and 8B becomes 3B. Select the source key and the tool shows the target key for any shift.
Smaller shifts often sound more natural. Larger shifts are more likely to reveal processing artifacts, especially on vocals, so export WAV or FLAC when you plan further editing.
