How to adjust audio gain
- Add one audio file and wait for the original waveform and peak analysis.
- Move the gain slider while comparing the adjusted waveform, predicted peak, and headroom. Preview the current setting if needed.
- Keep the adjusted peak at or below 0 dBFS, then export and download the processed track.

How much gain should I add to a quiet track?
Use the peak and waveform as the limit. Increase gain until the track reaches the level you need, but keep the predicted peak at or below 0 dBFS to avoid sample clipping.
Does changing gain make a track sound better?
Gain only changes level. It does not restore detail, change dynamics, or make a poor source higher quality.
Why can two tracks with the same peak still sound different in loudness?
Peak level measures the highest sample, not average or perceived loudness. Tracks with different dynamics can share the same peak and still feel very different.
